This website is admittedly and shamelessly self-promotional. But at the same time, I offer a gift to you. There is something here that I sincerely hope you take away, for free, and use to your advantage.
If, when looking over my posts, it seems like I’m all over the map, I’m not. All places are “Here,” and all times are “Now.” Everything on this site has one unifying thread: the line of confidence that separates “What am I doing?” from “I can do this!”
In whatever you see here, look for that line, and know that it is crossable. That’s my gift to you.
If, when looking over my posts, it seems like I’m nuts, well maybe I am. Hell, I call myself a lunatic. Anyone and everyone who crosses the line between “you can’t” and “just watch me” is going to look like a nut to anyone who views that line with mortal terror. It takes a certain amount of intestinal fortitude to cross not only that line but the good opinion of society at large. But you won’t find your own Truth unless you’re brave enough to look nuts, or even be nuts if that’s what it takes.
And that is another gift to you. I make it look easy, so maybe it is easy, yeah?
Is all this pretentious? I don’t give the southern end of a northbound rat if it is or not.
And that, is something else for you to have. Actually, you already do.
There’s the fine print: you won’t really get anything here… because all of these things are already in you. The ability to cross lines, be nuts if that’s what it takes, and be blissfully unconcerned about anyone’s opinion on the matter but your own. That’s the (Zen) Biker Way. I don’t show you how to be like this, only that it is possible to be like this. What I’ve actually done here is take away your excuse not to do so.
So there you go: Limitless possibility is described in these pages. Take it, and run with it as hard as you can. Believe in yourself, be creative, have fun. Encourage others to do the same, and show off what you do with it.
